Thank whatever power you believe in it's Friday! This has been the longest week.
Thanks much to those of you who were sending good juju my Dad's direction! He called last night when they got home and said the procedure went fine. Now he gets to wait until the 24th to go back for the results. What ever happened to doctors phoning results home? Why do we always have to go back to their office for another visit to hear the results? Stupid!
Okay, I'm still tired and a little bit grumpy about some other stuff, so since I've said what I really came to say, that's it for now. Maybe I'll come back and tell you about my day later; maybe not.

I'm relieved your father is doing well. Doctors make you come back because they submit the follow-up visit to insurance companies and make more money that way. Like padding their stats, which I suppose is like padding your bra but I wouldn't know anything about that. Have a great weekend...;)

Sorry I was late on wishing your dad a safe surgery! I am happy everything went okay.
I am dreading the day that I get sick or a loved one... and we have to deal with all the hospital bs and the waiting. Arg.

That's good your dad's doing better. I think they make you come in in case there's something that could potentially upset you - they'll be there to help you get through it.
Oh, and to get another office visit fee out of it.
